The Advanced Guide To Item Upgrading
Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
Item upgrading is a key component to maximizing your gearing potential. It allows you to add extra bonus stats on top of your base level item's value.
Each upgrade template comes with a set of options that can be configured via the GUI. These options include upgrading reference and chances of upgrading.
Upgrade components
The system for upgrading weapons, armor, and other gear in Cyberpunk 2077 has been revamped as part of the 2.0 update. Upgrade components are scattered across Night City. The item you want to upgrade must also include an upgrade slot. When you choose an item to upgrade the game will display a preview of what the expected stats will be following upgrading, as well as the component or material needed. If you don't have the required level or resource to upgrade an item the button will say "Blocked."
Weapons and armor can be upgraded along with a few trinkets and gathering tools. The upgrade slots on all of these are filled with different upgrades that provide attribute bonuses or extra effects while the equipment is in use. These upgrades are available by crafting, purchased from a vendor, or looted.
There are two types of gemstones and universal upgrades. Universal upgrades are similar to gems and can be used in any equipment. They offer a lower bonus than other upgrade components. These are easy to obtain because they are dropped by enemies and looted all over the world. Gems can be obtained by disassembling items or by fulfilling certain missions.
Upgrades can be taken out and replaced with new ones in the slot of the weapon. However, this will destroy any prior upgrades. Other upgrades, excluding for glyphs which can be added to gathering tools are not able to be removed from an item after they are inserted. Infusions can be placed into legendary or ascended equipment. Enhancements can only be recovered by using a high-tier salvaging kit or an upgrade extractor.
Recycled items
In the two World Wars, the scarcity of natural resources forced the world to recycle. Recycling things like aluminum or plastic, as well as paper is a common practice. They get a new lease on life. In fact, recycling reduces energy consumption and helps prevent carbon dioxide from escaping into the atmosphere. It is also a great option to avoid landfills and save natural resources. It is essential to be aware of what can be recycled.
A common mistake that people make is placing the wrong things in the recycling bin. These items can not only contaminate recycling equipment, but they can also cause contamination to the water. To avoid this, read the label and follow the rules of your recycling program. Cardboard should not be mixed with steel cans. Tissue should be disposed of. Plastic bags can get stuck in recycling machines, and should be returned to the grocery store for reuse. Food containers and berry containers are also items that can be disposed of. Glass is the only exception, since it is a great material to build with.
It's important to check for the label "Made from recycled content" when looking for new products. This label indicates that the product is made from recycled materials from products that have already fulfilled their purpose. This makes them more environmentally green than new products made of virgin materials. They are also less expensive than virgin ones.
You can recycle your old laptop, computer, tablet, or phone by taking it to a recycling facility. They will reuse this material to make new electronic devices and other useful products. Some of these companies will pay you money for returning your old products.
If you want to help your colleagues to recycle, you should consider coordinating the colors of the bins and signage in your office. This will eliminate confusion and boost participation. Additionally, ensure that you have a designated space for the various recyclables in your office, such as a centralized bin or a box in the breakroom.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens offer you a second chance of rolling the dice to gain better stats or better abilities. They are usually found in the mystery box, or as rare drops from bosses or monsters with skulls. Each token takes one attribute point from damage and randomly transforms into a new attribute. You can also use the token to roll the extra attributes of an item, for example regeneration or speed.
The additional features of an item increase with each level, but the amount they boost varies. The value of the extra is calculated in percentages of the total stats of the item, and rerolling a token will alter the value. In addition, the recycle value also increases with every upgrade. In general, the value of an item's main stat will increase by 3 with each level, while the value of its additional stats will fluctuate.
To roll a new item, you can click the dice icon next to the item you have in your inventory. More hints can also press the button on a different lobby of another player, and select "Reroll". After rolling, the item will disappear from your collection.
You can buy rerolls and other items in-game from Sagbe which is an in-game Token Shop trader. You can also earn free rerolls by redeeming active codes in Fire Force Online. These codes can be used to obtain various items such as Reroll Tokens and Clan Reroll Tokens.
Rerolls can be useful in the early stages of the game, when you are trying to increase your inventory and dungeon gear. They're not the best method to increase your character's stats. Instead, you should concentrate on increasing your skill points. You can also earn bonus points by completing event stages.
You can also change your character's race using a race reroll token, that can be purchased from the Zen Market. This token allows you to change your race only once, and it can be redeemed through certain pack purchases or through the Token Shop. You can also earn it as a reward when you complete Meg’s cases during the Port Sarim Invasion event.
Leveling
Upgrading an item in the upgrade process can increase its power level and stats. It also increases the cost and the amount of materials required to complete the upgrade. The kind of material required will vary based on the specific item. Weapons, for instance, utilize a combination of Destruction Stones (DS) and Guardian Stones. Armor is composed of Harmony Leapstones, Shards and other materials. The addition of additional materials can increase the likelihood of success, but it is not a sure thing.
The leveling process uses a formula to determine how much damage or defense, magic attack or damage the upgraded item receives when it is upgraded. The formulas differ based on the type of weapon and rarity. In addition, there is a maximum level for each type of weapon.
The NPC will show an Upgrade option after the item has reached its maximum level. This enables the player to upgrade the item to the next level by infusing it with experience. In order to maximize the effect of this process, players need to ensure that their gear is fully leveled before attempting an upgrade. This way, they'll avoid wasting experience and materials that could have been better used for other upgrades.
The NPC will show two lines when the upgrade is in progress. The first line displays the amount of Tech Points will be gained by upgrading the item, while the second displays a preview of the item's upgraded appearance. The preview may not be accurate if the item has mods. However, it will provide a rough idea.
The NPC will also display the cost of upgrading the item. This will include the cost of Technology Points, if applicable. If you have an Accelerator, it will also show its cost. Accelerators are available on the Exchange. They increase the Tech Points earned from upgrading by 50%. This bonus does not apply to the item's chance of quality which is reset once the item reaches the mark level.
The Upgrade NPC offers a service to facilitate transfers of gear. This will allow players to save the experience and upgrade progress of a piece of gear and transfer it to a different item that is in the same slot. This can be useful for players who wish to upgrade their gear but don't have enough currency to buy a new set.
